Grab Your Headphones and Listen to This Guy

Last Saturday I was working at, the always entertaining, Beach Ball Comic book store in Anaheim. All kind of colorful characters show up there on Saturdays, but none of them compare to the dude that walked into the store this past week. He walked in wearing what looked like Civil War Gear. He was wearing a tan Confederate Soldier cap, a Fonzie leather jacket and had tan messenger pouch slung over his shoulder. He had a very large white mustache and kept his reading spectacles dangling from his mouth. He came up to the counter, took the glasses out of his mouth and began to talk.

So, he starts talking about new Enterprise in the upcoming JJ Abrams's Star Trek Film as well as Quantum Physics . I grabbed my phone and hit the record function, because i knew that i would not be able to do this guy justice by merely decribing him.
"Oh, he blinks! does he beep?" This is the moment when he gets distracted by the 1:1 Scale R2-D2 in the shop.

He Continues thumbing through a copy of Toyfare Magazine looking for an example of the new Star Trek Enterprise.
As you can tell, he has a number of Tribbles.

He then goes through the Star Trek toys and begins to talk about Scottie, then he walks away from me and talks to another customer who seemed interested in James Doohan.

After looking at a Suppressor on Harley Quinn's Revolver he goes on a mini rant on how that could not physically work and continues to trail off as he walks out the door on his way to El Pollo Loco.

and just like that, he was gone.

I spent 10 minutes with this man and got 4 pretty fun sound clips, just so I could listen to them later and know that this was for real. I think he is a Civil War soldier for the south that got teleported to our time, to tell us the true nature of Star Trek and Quantum Physics.

May his message be heard for generations to come!
